  It is rather public knowledge that presidents take home documents, even disputed ones. Obama took 30M documents home, Nixon, Carter and Reagan released the last of his documents in the late 2010s, JFK family is still holding on to a ton of documents about the Bay of Pigs debacle and subsequent Cuban missile crisis, some of those documents won’t be released by the JFK library for another 50 years or so presumably because they would be damaging to the image of the late President.

  Presidents have broad power over classification, since they are in charge of the entire executive branch, they can simply verbally say they declassify something and that’s it. Typically there are some lawyers and the President’s library going back and forth negotiating over specific documents, at no point has anyone raided the Bush family or the Kennedy family.

  It also included a much larger tax hike on the 50,000-200,000 brackets, it is calculated by the Senate’s own taxation committee, the average American will soon be paying approximately $4T extra (about $10-15k/person more, meaning a family of 4 will have to pay close to $6k more per year in taxes) which will go fully into effect by the time Biden gets out of office.
  
  Things such as capital gains taxes (which is basically a tax on your pension funds), making death a taxable event, any income is now fully taxed (so if you sell something on eBay or collect rent, there are no longer any deductions) and deductions such as business losses are permanently limited, excise taxes of 1900% on drug sales. Those are all taxes that INDIVIDUALS will pay, especially at the lower end, besides the taxes that businesses now will have to pass through resulting in massive inflation and unemployment.

  The USPS is being bailed out repeatedly, you can look at the history and every spending cycle there are several billions. Moreover, they are the ONLY corporation in the US that hasn’t had to fund their own benefit and pension funds, instead these costs are carried by the tax payer every chance they get.

  According to the USPS: USPS cannot fund its current level of services and financial obligations from its revenues.

  Doctors prescribe what the drug companies pay them most to push, and they pay lavishly.

  My wife has a serious back injury from a car accident with occasional spasms. Getting anything more than 5 pills per visit is pulling teeth - lost your pills or have more than 5 days per year you need it and there comes the flyer about addiction help. And we do have very good private insurance and health spending accounts with significant limits so it’s not a money or government restriction.

  Finding a happy pill popper is like finding an orgy after you leave the JW, you seem to hear about them all the time, but they just never seem to happen to me.

  @Jan: I obviously can’t diagnose you remotely, but Citalopram is some HEAVY medicine just to treat low mood or a minor depression. It should’ve been prescribed only for major depressive disorder which is basically a depression you have for years without a clear cause, where therapy and other medicine haven’t helped. I know in UK/EU (I used to live there) medicine get prescribed much more readily to avoid the government from more expensive treatments, but holy cow.

  For those of you that don’t know, doctors in the US prescribe it sparingly because it accelerates significantly the people that have suicidal ideation, so if you have the wrong ‘type’ of depression, this can make it a lot worse.

  But as to the topic at hand, many psychologists now agree that we don’t know a lot about the origins of mood altering drugs. Psylocibin is now back in the research as an alternative, that’s how desperate they are in the field to find something that works without a ton of side effects. All the stuff that they give to ADD/ADHD kids could make symptoms worse if poorly diagnosed, leading to more prescriptions. Most professionals nowadays will suggest at least to start with CBT instead of drugs, and continue CBT during any medical prescriptions which should be carefully monitored.

  I’m involved in a few research studies that do substance abuse and some drug research, to make sure nobody is harmed, there is a TON of therapy and review and panel review before they even get a pill and basically that level of guidance is what many people need for treatment of major psychological disorders. But it’s very expensive and not very lucrative to drug companies.

  Dark matter/energy (you must know that those are the same by now) has been observed, it is what causes gravitational lensing. The problem is that we don’t know what dark matter/energy is made out of, because there is none near any traditional matter that we are used to. Basically when we look out, something is bending light, so we assume it must have some mass, but we don’t “see” any traditional objects like black holes, stars or planets.

  As to the picture you showed, there is no order in there, look at any longer timespans and things are just spinning around, colliding into each other, dying, getting killed and getting born. You just have to look at a black hole and notice none of it is ordered around it.

  And the further back you go, the less ordered it gets, the oldest signals, the cosmic background radiation, is just white noise, it is so unordered, we use it as a source for true randomness in cryptography and other computer systems that need randomness.

  Instead of finding a big mess as the big bang predicts; they will find fully formed stars, spiral galaxies and black holes.

  Initial images found:

  a turbulent region (aka a big mess) of star birth (not fully formed), and death (not eternal), approximately 7,600 light-years away in the southern constellation Carina

  Creationist disproven or will SeaBreeze move on to another theory and stake his hopes on the next NASA missions. You'll have to wait and find out more, next time on God of the Gaps.

  so, back in the day, when you had an 'unruly child' and/or family members, your privileges were removed pretty much instantly right?

  my entire childhood i had to hear about how me being bad in the hall or someone telling the elders about what's happening at our home, that's making it so my stepfather never gets or keeps appointments.

  so always be good, don't tell anyone anything, so the men can become servants and elders and the women pioneers.. so i hear this about an elder family that pretty much broke apart.

  So, back in the day, when you had an 'unruly child' and/or family members, your privileges were removed pretty much instantly right? My entire childhood I had to hear about how me being bad in the hall or someone telling the elders about what's happening at our home, that's making it so my stepfather never gets or keeps appointments. So always be good, don't tell anyone anything, so the men can become servants and elders and the women pioneers.

  So I hear this about an elder family that pretty much broke apart. 16yo skipped school and got pregnant she got df'ed obviously but baby comes to the hall, the older one runs away from home to live with boyfriend. The mother elderette still looking to talk to the kids.

  And this isn't the only one, in a similar situation another person I used to know made servant a while ago but their kids grew up are now teenagers and are getting reproved (unbaptized publisher), but they all keep their position, because apparently there aren't enough men to do the job anymore.

  Even better, all of them PIMI parents and kids are looking to become pioneers for the summer.
